The Coalition for Clean Air appreciates and fully supports Governor Newsom putting us on the path to achieve our climate goals and, eventually, come into compliance with air quality standards.
Transportation is the leading cause of both greenhouse gas emissions and smog-forming pollutants in the state. The Governor’s Executive Order is a meaningful step in addressing the climate crisis and protecting the health of Californians. Electrifying transportation will also create jobs and help California move forward in its economic recovery.
Coalition for Clean Air will be working hard to make sure his Executive Order gets fully implemented without delay.
